Transfer and Open Project
All user actions done on Master should be propagated automatically to all the slaves. However, there are 2 main reasons why you still need to manually transfer project and asset files across the cluster:
  • assets can, at the moment, be transferred only by clicking on Transfer current project button. So whenever you import a new asset on Master machine, you will eventually need to copy it to all the slaves.
  • All changes done on Master machine are automatically propagated across all of the slaves. If, for various reasons, a slave cannot execute a particular change, it will notify the master. In this case, it is advisable to save, transfer and re-open the project on all slaves.
If you have not saved your project yet, you will need to do so.
In LightNet window, click on Transfer current project and on the Project transfer pop-up window, select Transfer.
On the LightNetTransfer pop-up window, click Close.
If you encounter an any issues here, please make sure all LightNet Prerequisites are set up correctly. Additional clues are also available in the Logs window.
Click Open current project on all under Cluster commands to open the project on all computers in the cluster.
Good to know: If there is a yellow Missing assets message showing under Assets, click Refresh data to see the the updated changes. If the message stays even after refreshing the data, transfer and open the project again.
